Husband and wife, Eric and Erin
Scarbrough, trained in the Band Instrument
Repair program at
Minnesota State College South East Technical
located in Red Wing, Minnesota. During their
time there they studied all aspects of
instrument repair, from the simplest repairs
to full restorations on the most up to date
tools and machinery available.
In 2003, Eric and Erin moved back to
Columbus, Ohio and started their own
instrument repair business, Scarbrough
Music. Since then they have been providing
professional repairs, maintenance, and
modifications for all levels of musicians.
In 2006, Eric and Erin began providing
repairs and service to
Music Go Round. A thorough knowledge of
the instruments sent to them is needed in
order to consistently provide top quality
instruments for the sales floor.
From 2006-2008 Eric
served as the Instrument Repair Technician
on staff at The Ohio State University.
During Eric’s time at OSU, Erin was handling
Scarbrough Music and its rapidly growing
customer list. In 2008, the decision was
made for Eric to leave Ohio State, so both
Eric and Erin could focus on Scarbrough
Music. Eric is still teaching the repair
class that is currently offered at OSU. |
