Oboe Repad |
|
An oboe repad consists of
replacing all the pads and regulating the instrument to Ensure
proper closure and sealing of pads. Tenon corks will also be
replaced. Wooden instruments will be oiled if required |

Oboe Overhaul |
|
The highest level of work available for the oboe. Includes
all steps in a repad as well as replacement of all springs and
adjustment of tenon and bell rings if required. Hinge rods will
be polished to improve key motion. Any endplay between the keys
and posts will be adjusted to ensure a tight fit. Any removal of
dents in wooden instruments or repair of cracks is extra based
on the shop hourly rate |

Crack Repairs |

Both wooden and composite oboe
crack repairs are based on the shop hourly rate and will be
quoted after diagnosis of the instrument |

Regulation of keys and adjustments for leaks
are done at the shop hourly rate and will be
quoted after diagnosis of the instrument. |
